DIRT design group was founded in June 2012 by Neil Wiita, to explore the possibilities for responsive architectural systems. Whether kinetic or passive structurally, interplay between those who experience design and the object itself is at the core of DIRT's study. By envisioning architecture as producing and being a product of not just of the visual world but equally of touch, sound, and emotion, the possibility for creating a truly immersive space can be explored.
